Inspired by the idea that the music doesn't end with the last note, Golightly Designs Gallery repurposes used guitar strings, keeping them out of landfills and creates unique contemporary vintage guitar string jewelry and rocker fashion accessories. Earring, necklaces, rings and bracelets, Golightly Designs creates wearable art that truly rocks for any music and fashion aficionado. Golightly Designs has created hundreds of jewelry designs in 3 distinct lines as well as original custom interior wall art pieces. Owned by Los Angeles designer, Megan Ann Sullivan, Golightly Designs launched in 2010 when her love of guitars and art fused to create unique wearable art. While creating a painting of a 1959 Gibson Les Paul guitar, she finished the painting with a touch of realism by affixing actual guitar strings to the painting. Recycling the remaining strings she created a bracelet and began to wear it everyday. So many people started to comment on it, she started designing and experimenting with various designs, techniques and styles from the used strings of friends. Eventually local musicians would ask to have custom pieces made from their strings and Golightly Designs® was born.
